Underwriting the risks that build the Kingdom

Technology-enabled underwriting for the engineering, industrial and specialty risks behind the Kingdom's growth.

What Vector is

Vector is a technology-enabled managing general underwriter for engineering and specialty risk. We assess complex technical, industrial and commercial exposures on behalf of insurance capacity, and underwrite them with the discipline those risks demand.

Capacity is provided by licensed carriers and reinsurers. Vector brings the engineering expertise, the structured risk information and the underwriting infrastructure that sit between a submission and a decision.

The system

Built as underwriting infrastructure, not a brokerage

Vector combines specialist risk evaluation, structured technical data and underwriting expertise in one operating model, designed to assess complex risks consistently and scale across specialty sectors.

  1. 01

    Structured risk file

    Every submission, structured for underwriting.

Fragmented technical submissions become one consistent risk file: project, parties, contract, method, programme, values, location and surroundings.

Missing fields, inconsistencies and exposures are flagged for specialist review.

  2. 02

    Engineering assessment

Technology structures the information. Specialist underwriters interpret the risk and decide what needs further information, referral or review.

  3. 03

    Underwriting governance

Documented guidelines, referral thresholds and an auditable decision trail keep every decision consistent and explainable. Carrier-specific rules apply only where agreed and permitted.

  4. 04

    Accumulation and portfolio

The same structured data gives portfolio-level visibility as activity grows: exposure by sector, geography and project type, and concentrations of similar risk.

  5. 05

    Capacity integration

Vector works alongside licensed carriers and reinsurance capacity. It strengthens the underwriting process; it does not replace the carrier or hold the risk.

Sectors

Engineering and complex risk, across seven sectors

  • Construction projects, contractors' and erection risks, civil engineering works and inherent defects.

Why Vector

How Vector underwrites differently

  • 01

    Engineering specialisation

Underwriters and engineers who understand how projects, plant and processes fail: the technical expertise to read a complex risk correctly, applied first to construction and engineering.

  • 02

    Technology-enabled workflow

Proprietary internal tooling that organises each submission, reduces repetitive document-heavy work and gives underwriters a complete file to work from, with predictable turnaround for brokers.

  • 03

    Structured risk intelligence

Consistent, comparable risk records across every submission, supporting exposure analysis on individual risks and across the portfolio.

  • 04

    Scalable operations

An operating model that lets the underwriting team handle more submissions with the same controls and documentation, and adds sectors as capability, capacity and permissions are in place.
